Hey, I’m Iyanu. I’m a Lead Product Designer who designs and builds business software.
I originally wanted to study architecture, ended up in civil engineering, and found my way into product design. I’ve always been interested in how people use what we create, and how to make it work better for them.
That interest has shaped six years in design, including five at Crop2Cash, where I now continue part-time. I’ve led design across 10+ products in an ecosystem serving half a million farmers, from CRMs and accounting tools to USSD flows and AI voice experiences.
The scale became personal on a field visit. Farmers told us how much easier it had become to transfer money and buy quality inputs at lower prices. I nearly cried listening to them. Decisions we’d spent hours discussing were making someone’s everyday life a little easier. That’s the part of the work that has stayed with me.
Over time, I’ve also wanted a more hands-on role in bringing those decisions to life. I started making small UI fixes, learning from my teammates and using AI tools to help with the code. That grew into building features from start to finish and shipping projects of my own. Today, design and building are both part of my practice.
Outside of work, I go to the gym, take photos and play more Call of Duty Mobile than I should. I used to be really deep in macro photography. My music taste has no loyalty. EDM, house, lofi, rock, dubstep. If it sounds good, it’s in the rotation.
